Just leaving this here…
Compared to Youtube, Reddit and Facebook, LinkedIn is relatively free from comment wars.
I think for the same reason there are so many lurkers – you don’t want your boss / colleague / future employer seeing you.
But in the 9 months I’ve been on here, it seems to be on the up – and I saw three fiery exchanges this morning alone.
For those who do indulge…
At best, you might wear the other person down until they stop responding. But is that really a win?
To be honest, 20’s me often needed to vent. I saw it as “don’t suffer fools gladly.”
40’s me prioritises inner peace and my reputation (personal brand).
“You say 2 + 2 = 5? Sure thing, have a nice day.”
But maybe I’m wrong – what do you think?
